Traveling to another country can even reveal a lot about another culture, and how different a person is accustomed.

A controversial Reddit conversation began when an innocent user asked: “Reddit travelers, what surprised you most when visiting another country?”

The comments section of the thread is full of thousands of people who share a country that they visited recently and their strange anecdote that were surprised to discover.

Some people pointed out things like how different the inflection culture from one place to another, others shared answers such as the social ones that are the locals and how strange it is to pay to use a bathroom.
