The Hollywood star, Josh Duhamel, is living the good life.
Duhamel, 52, left Los Angeles Beind to live outside the network in a Minnesota house that spent 15 years building.
“Part of the reason I built my place in Minnesota, deep in the forest, is eliminated from everything,” said the “Seguro Refuge” star to Parade.
“The closest store is 40 miles away,” he explained. “Once we get there, it’s really about everyone taking care of each other: making memories, spending time with family and friends.”
While Duhamel has years of building the place outside the network for his family, he is grateful to have the opportunity to “return to the basics.”
“You are not consumed by all these other distractions,” he told The Outlet. “When you are outside, he really has fun, making sure everyone is hot, everyone has food and water.”
The actor enjoys his house in Minnesota, in addition to his wife Audra Mari and his 1 -year -old sonperd. The 11 -year -old son with ex -wife Fergie also spends time at home.
“My son will have memories of this place forever. He is not on his iPad when he is there,” he said or his son Axl. “He is there in the boat with me, or is playing football on the beach, or is in the forest doing what he is doing.”
“And then I have a baby who is going to experience the same. Someday, I hope to convey this [so] They are able to share it with their children. It is really important for me to have this. It is not just about having all the comforts and all the luxuries to which we get used to it so much. It really is the family. This is a legacy, “he concluded.
Duhamel opened about his disinterest in Hollywood in a 2023 interview with “in depth with Graham Bensinger.”
“I don’t think I really feel comfortable with everything. It was just a lot. I missed the simplicity of who I really am,” he said at that time. “I am simply not a boy who feels comfortable making red carpets, doing all the things of Hollywood. I do not hate him, now I am better in what I, but it took me a long time to really feel as if it belonged to me, how I will fit.”

Duhamel began his modeling career and then made the transition to act with a role in “all my children.” It became a family name while starring “Las Vegas” for the five -year career of the program. The actor solidified his state of Hollywood with his interpretation of Colonel William Lennox in the “Transformers” franchise.
Duhamel explained that his focus of fame differed from ex -wife Fergie, which led to the end of his eight -year marriage. The two married in 2009 before leaving it in 2017. Fergie and Duhamel finished their divorce in 2019.
“We had a great time, but I think children or we simply surpassed and we had very different interests,” he said. “The older it came back to me, the more I wanted to go back here … [but] This is not for her. But I have no resentments for it. I really don’t do it. “
“I am very lucky that she is a human girl, I really am.”
