Florida rip current leaves teen dead, 2 others injured

Lake Worth Beach, Fla. – A teenager was killed and two others were injured in a serious way after the trio stuck in a lightning current while swimming on a beach in Florida during the weekend.

According to the information provided by the Palm Beach County Sheriff Office (PBCSO), the agents responded to the reports of an almost proof incident that occurred in Lake Worth Beach on Saturday afternoon.

The authorities said that Lake Worth Beach’s lifeguards, as well as the first to respond to the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue, were able to get the victims from the ocean to provide RCP, and the three were tasks to local hospitals to be treated.

One of those victims, who has only been identified as a 17 -year -old man was tasks for Bethesda East Hospital, where he was later declared dead.

The other two victims, identified as a 12 -year -old man and a 17 -year -old man, were taken to the St. Mary’s medical center and survived being underwater for a prolonged period of time.

The PBCSO said it was reported that these two victims were aware, alerts and in stable conditions.

No other information was immediately available.

The brim currents are strong and narrow currents that move away from the shore and go to the sea at high speeds. They can occur on any beach with waves of rupture, not only in the ocean.

Hangover currents can also occur along the coasts of the great lakes.
