While the Boston Celtics aim to take an advantage of the 2-0 series over Orlando Magic on Wednesday night, they will do it without the Jayson Tatum superstar.

Boston announced that Tatum will leave for game 2 on Wednesday with a “right distal radio bone hematoma.” Presumably, Tatum suffered the injury in the last quarter of game 1, when the magical guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and the Wendell Carter Jr. Center contacted him under the basket in a play that ruled a flagrant 1.

That said, Tatum finished the game, registering 40 minutes. Tatum was included as a doubtful, and hero that labels up to about an hour before the game or the game on Wednesday.

“Today, he was able to reach the court with the team,” said Chief coach Joe Mazzulla. “He’s doing everything possible to get in a position to play.”

But Tatum won to be available tonight, and Mazulla confirmed that he will be listed as “day by day” in the future.

Tatum totaled 17 points and 14 rebounds in 8 of 22 shots from the field (36.4%) in the victory of game 1 103-86 of the Celtics on Sunday.

Tatum Dalt with ankle and knee problems at the points of the regular season, but still managed to appear in 72 games. The Celtics had 8-2 in games without it, but left a game to Orlando 108-104 on December 23.

Tatum, four times honored All-NBA, averaged 26.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, six assists and 1.1 robberies per game, while fired 45.2/34.3/81.4 in the regular season.
