At least three people died after a boat surpassed near San Diego on Monday, although there were indications that others could not take into account, the authorities said.
The authorities received a report from a Panga boat overturned in Torrey Pines State Beach just before Monday, according to Jorge Moreno, a spokesman for the state parks of California.
Pangas are open ships that can transport people or drugs.
The teams found 17 life jackets, he said. A survivor told the members of the Fire Department of Encinitas, who also replied, that there had been 18 people in the boat, he thought the department said that only seven people were found on the beach.
The starting point of the boat and where it was directed was not known immediately. The details about their passengers were not available.
The United States Coast Guard said Monday that he was looking for nine people who were missing after he received a report from a dump ship.
Three people were found dead on the beach, Moreno said. Four other people, three women and a male task for Memorial Hospital La Jolla with problems related to breathing, the hospital said Monday. Three of the patients were 30 years old and one was a teenager, he said. The Encinitas Fire Department described that three of the patients had minor injuries to modify and said a person was in critical condition.
The parks department said the search and rescue efforts ended just before 9 am local time.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office previously said on social networks that its deputies were helping the Coast Guard to provide “rescue measures” on a beach in Del Mar, California, a coastal city to the north or San Diego.
