Leave Kelly – Aces de Las VegasSerena Sundell – Seattle StormShyanne Sellers – Atlanta Dream

The cuts of the WNBA lists are becoming brutal, to say the least. With the teams shaving their lists to 11-12 players this week, both is being disseminated to track that is almost easy and think of who has made the teams cut.

In the spirit of so many cuts that are made to list them now it carries an eternity, let’s focus on the most shocking cuts to come this week.

Leave Kelly – Aces de Las Vegas

Deja Kelly was signed with a training camp contract with the Las Vegas Aces after not being damaged in the WNBA Draft of 2025. Instead of being an easy -to -cut camp player, Kelly came out and impressed both fans and team staff in the two pre -season games of the Aces. In the game against Phoenix Mercury, Kelly scored 15 points, including the winner of the game.

The Aces did not want to cut it from the team, but unfortunately, they had no way to keep it on the list and remain under the salary cover/list limit. Since both Dana Evans and Kierstan Bell are in guaranteed contracts, they could not be cut. There was no way to make the calculations to keep Kelly while keeping Kitley and Nye as rookies. An unfortunate end for a great preseason by Kelly, which went from undressing to a serious rookie perspective.

Serena Sundell – Seattle Storm

Sundell was recruited in general in the WNBA Draft of 2025 by the storm, falling lower than expected. She is an advanced player, an expert defender, and has the potential to become a great WNBA player. Unfortunately, a preseason less than ideal of her, along with the conclusions of the storm contract did not allow her to make the final list.

The storm had to maintain the salary of Katie Lou Samuelson in the books due to the nature of her lesion in the training camp, construction of her top space. It is another instance of the strict list and the salary rules of the WNBA that are harmful to the development of young players.

Shyanne Sellers – Atlanta Dream

Shyanne Sellers was projected as a possible first round draft selection before falling to number 17 and be recruited by Golden State Valkyries. Shortly after the training camp began, the vendors were cut by the Valkyries and collected in the Waaivers by Atlanta’s dream shortly after. In the midst of speculation about a persistent knee injury, the vendors and their team assured that it was healthy and ready to work, and went to Georgia.

He played in a preseason game for Atlanta, and participated in his camp for less than a week before being cut for the second time. While there has been no official confirmation about the cause of 100% of its knee injury, that reasoning constitutes a large part of the speculation about why any of the teams.
