The Golden State star, Stephen Curry, left in the second quarter of the opening of the second round in Minnesota with a left ischiotibial laying, and the Warriors said he would not return to the game on Tuesday night.
Curry grabbed on the back of his left leg after hitting a float and immediately went to the locker room, after scoring 13 points in 13 minutes in 5 for 9 shots. Curry, 37, helped Golden State beat Houston in game 7 of his first round series two nights before.
The four-time NBA champion and 11 times there averaged 24 points per game against the rockets in the first round for the sixth warriors sown.
