The golf world is constantly turning and issues both in the present and in the future are always being treated.
On Tuesday, the United States Solheim Cup team, Tok, both at the same time by announcing Paula Creamer as one of Angela Stanford’s assistant captains for next year’s team. Paula joins Kristy McPherson in the assistant captains ranking for the event that will take place in Bernardus Golf in the Netherlands in September or 2026.
“Paula’s passion for his country and the Solheim Cup are contagious,” Stanford said. “I really enjoyed being Paula’s teammate when we played at the Solheim glasses and when we work as attendees together in Virginia last year. Paula is a winner and leader and someone I because in the room every time in each Copa Solheim.”
Paula Creamer is one of the most decorated LPGA players in recent memory. The US Women’s Open Champion. 2010 has 10 wins in her career and has appeared in 7 Cups of Solheim while representing red, white and blue. She was also the young American player her first appearance (young at that time to be clear).
This is a cliff movement of Captain Angela Stanford, since Creamer’s experience can only help next to the United States while in the enemy territory.
Paula seems quite happy for that.
“I feel honored that Angela asks me for legs that is one of her assistant captains when she leads the American team next year at the Solheim 2026 Cup. Using red, white and blue have been an important part of my career. The United States well and finally retains the cup for another two years,” Creamer said. “Winning abroad is not easy, but Angela will have the American team ready and will do the job. 2026 cannot come quick enough. Go to the USA!”
The next fall should be fun.
