Some of the best players in the university softball last season will play next year in a new place and with a different uniform.
Emma Jackson of East Carolina, who slapped 21 home runs on the fence this season, landed in Missouri. The All-American receptor Jasmyn Burns, previously or Ohio State, has already joined Texas Tech. The national leader in Pches, the Maya Johnson of Belmont and the national leader in successes, Sophia Knight of Boise State, have also entered the transfer portal. Knight has already signed with Tennessee.
Now that the Women University World Series is about Texas to beat Texas Tech in an exciting series of three games, many key players of the eight teams that made the trip to Oklahoma City have decided to look for more green pastures. As their performances demonstrate last season, these are players who could help their new teams to win many games and make deep in the postseason.
These are the best players on the transfer portal of the softball teams that they played in the World Series this year:
Kaitlyn Terry – Launcher/Utility, UCLA
The first year student of the PAC-12 year in 2024, Terry had another strong campaign for UCLA as a second year student when he became the first Bruins pitcher from Rachel García to open his career of 20 seasons of Victoria. In addition to publishing an effectiveness of 2.64 with 172 strikeouts, Terry had also scored a decent season on the plate with 35 hits and 30 races. Terry, a Lfthander, was the 11th at the national level in the relationship of strikeouts to walk with a 5.06 mark.
Mia Williams – Second Base, Florida
The daughter of the former Basketball player of Florida and NBA champion Jason Williams, the second-year-old painting player was a crucial part of the success of the GATS this season and obtained Honors All-E and All-American. Williams published an operation of 1,144, 61 hits, 52 races, 19 home runs and 44 ranges.
Addisen Fisher – Jarra, Ucla
The right of Bles, Oregon, had an outstanding season for the Bruins as possibly their second best pitcher, accumulating a 16-2 record, 100 strikeouts and an effectiveness of 2.59 in 113 work tickets. Fisher was appointed first team of first team All-American for D1 Softball and was a finalist for the first year student of the NFCA of the year. She was classified as no. 1 recruit in 2024 by softball America.
Corri Hicks – Catcher, Oklahoma
Hicks Didn’t Play All That Much As a Freshman This Past Season for The Sooners, But Showed Flashes of The Potential That Made Her a Top 15 Recruit in The 2024 Class, Like When She Hit a Walk-Off Hom Regional of the Regional of the Regional of the Regional of the Regional of the Regional of the Regional of the Regional Stage of the regional stage of the Regional University. In 23 shifts to bat this season, Hicks had six hits, three of which were Dingers. She published an OPS of 1,045.
Raegan Jennings – Lentajero, Texas Tech
Jennings led the Red Raiders bank with 35 hits and 20 races scored in 88 appearances on the plate. Texas Tech Herry Gerry Glasco called her a “American -type pinch batter” after he came up with a great single and scored a career in the victory of the World Series of the Game 2 of the Network Raiders over Texas. He is a second year student who hits the left -handed hand and had an average batting of .398 this year.
