Mets DH Jesse Winker expected to miss 6-8 weeks with an oblique injury

The designated batter of the New York Mets, Jesse Winker, is expected to be lost six to eight weeks with a degree 2 grade 2, the manager Carlos Mendoza confirmed on Monday.

Mendoza also said that reliever Aj Minder will have season-cut surgery next Monday due to a torn muscle. MINTER had an effectiveness of 1.64 in 13 appearances this season.

The Brett Bcy player will take Winker’s place on the major league list after being called triple-a syracuse.

Winker left the first game of the double header on Sunday against the cardinals of St. Louis due to the discomfort of the right side. He was injured by making a plage launch in the third duration of the entrance his first start of the season in the left garden after obtaining almost all his game time this year in a DH squad with Starling Mars.

Bathy, 25, hit .204 with a homer and four races promoted for METS earlier this season.

The 31 -year -old Winker, a left -handed batter, is hitting .239 with a home run and 10 races promoted this season.
