Miami, Florida – Despite starting at the Pole Position, Sprint’s career was not the path of Kimi Antonelli at the Miami Grand Prix of Formula 1.
But the young Phenom of Mercedes became position to deliver even bigger points tomorrow.
While Antonelli lost the advantage in Sprint F1’s career against Oscar Piasstri in Curve 1, ultimately, forming with a seventh place, Mercedes’s rookie delivered his best Grand Prix than the result of his F1 career later, qualifying, and thirdly of third Dwappen, and third and third third and third Dadding.
Antonelli said Friday that he was on the moon with his possess pole. Speaking on Saturday after the qualification, he told the media how “happy” he was to recover after a “disappointing” beginning of the day.

So really, very happy with how every weekend I am more to play much more with the car and try to explore the limit too,” continued the young driver. “So far from the weekend I felt very good in the car. Pressure about an “target” for the Antonelli Grand Prix, made it clear that he only wants to have a “good rhythm in the race” on Sunday.
“I really don’t know why say because it always goes terrible!
“It will not be easy, of course, but we will see, in the first place, how the weather is, because there are probably some thunderstorms, so it could not very well,” the driver continued. “But yes, let’s see how the weather is going to be and then we will try to do everything possible with what we have. Definitely in FP1 we made a fairly long race, so we could collect good data about the dry and, hopefully, we have done it.”
What could be a terrifying thought for the rest of the network is that this is only the sixth F1 career of Antonelli and its first time in the Miami Grand Prix.
Soon the calendar changes to Europe, where it has much more experience.
“There is still a margin of improvement, but yes, I feel better and better in the car every weekend,” Antonelli added. “So I hope that after this weekend, we go to European clues, clues that I know well, and hopefully I can power the same pace or even go faster.”
