The rookie of Formula 1, Kimi Antonelli, has enjoyed a strong beginning of his first year in the network. The 18 -year -old rookie scored points in his debut in the Australia Grand Prix, captured the Pole Position for the F1 Sprint race in the Miami Grand Prix, and is currently sixth in the classification of the pilot championship, seven points ahead of Lewis Hamilton, the living legend that replaced in Mercedes after Hamilton that left Ferrari.

This week brings the Italian driver back to Italy for his first house at F1, Emilia Romagna’s Grand Prix, and has some special guests with him.

His classmates.

Antonelli is still finishing the school, and decided to organize a trip so that his classmates visit the Paddock and see what he does.

“Yes, I organized this, thanks also to some people in Mercedes,” the FIA press conference described. “Pink [Herrera Venegas]That is also in the room, he helped. We were able to organize this for school. I think it is a good way to see this world with its own eyes. They used to watch the races on television, but they didn’t really know what is happening behind this.

“I think it is a really good experience and I really hope you enjoy it. We have organized some activities, later I am the car and explain a little, without having too much details,” Antonelli added. “It is a good way to maintain the relationship because I don’t spend much time at home, so I don’t see them often. These little things can make a difference.”

Even so, Mercedes’s rookie admitted that staying up to date with school has been a challenge when he adapts to life on the network.

“Well, I can’t attend school, but I’m trying to study what I can, as special in those little moments I have for free,” Antonelli said Thursday in Isola. “I also receive help from school to try to catch up because they definitely miss me a lot of work this time.

“But it is not easy, because that also requires energy and effort. Especially before such an important weekend, it is really important to handle that side, not do too much to save energy. But yes, every time I am at home or I have a little free time, I try to do a little just to stay active and catch up as possible.”

Antonelli also expects the energy of their home races to help a difference on the track this week.

“This weekend will be emotionally and mentally exhausting: homemade races in front of Italian fans, and as I said, my family and friends will attend. Therefore, it will be really important to handle energy, as a special OEFF, and not where Iuf, and no. Antonelli.

“It will be important to stay aware of that, it is really easy to reach the bottom of the pack before the end of the weekend. A normal weekend is very exhausting and drain, so this is like double. In fact. People around me really help.

“At the end of the day, it is another race weekend, but due to the circumstances it will be different. At the same time, it will be really exciting,” added Mercedes. “I think the energy will be incredible and that can be used to do the same on the track. I really hope to see how we are going this weekend.”

That weekend seriously begins with two practice sessions on Friday, before the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix this weekend.
