Today, the complete field for the 109 of Indianapolis will be established.
The full field rating set on Saturday 13-30 on the grid, but on Sunday brings three critical sessions that will complete the automobile field that will begin 33º in the grid, to the car that will begin in the Pole Position.
The first session is Fast 12, which consists of the 12 fastest cars in the full field qualification session on Saturday. Each car guarantees a duration of the execution of four laps in the session, with the request determined based on the speed table since Saturday, starting with the slowest car of the 12. At the end of an hour, the six higher cars will advance to the Firestone Fast Six, while the lower half will complete points 7-12 in the Indianapolis 500.
Then comes the qualification of the last chance. With 34 cars entered and only 33 places on the network, the four lower cars of Saturday’s session gave it more than an hour for a place in the field. Marco Andretti, Marcus Armstrong, Jacob Abel and Rinus Veekay are the four struggles for the last three places in this session.
The cars are guaranteed an attempt of a four laps rating race, and can make multiple attempts until the clock expires.
On Sunday he ends with Firestone Fast Six, with the six best cars of fasting 12 fighting for the pole position. This works for 30 minutes, with each car guaranteed an attempt of a four laps rating career.
