Humble and hungry, Shilo Sanders looks to forge NFL path with Bucs

Tampa, Florida – as long and as difficult as the Campo de Colorado Marshal Sheders Draft was, waiting until the fifth round that the Browns collected, his older brother and his former teammate Shilo had to wait even more.

The 25 -year security, who played with his father Deion with Jackson State and Colorado, was not among the 257 players chosen in the Draft, but signed with the Bucs shortly after.

“My agent called and said:” BUCS offers you a contract, “and I think I did the Dougie for about 15 minutes,” Sanders said on Saturday, with a red shirt No. 28 while teaching part in Rookie’s mini -family of Tampa Bay. “I am very grateful for the opportunity to give me this opportunity when no one else would do it at that time.”

Sanders is not special or fast, but the BUCS coach, Todd Bowles, has put a cousin in finding “Ballhawks”, increasing the ability of defense to take the ball from the opponents, and that is a strength for Sanders. In his first year in Colorado in 2023, he forced four loose balls, a large number for a defense, and had an interception return of 80 years in Colorado in addition to five interceptions in two years in Jackson State.

“It’s just one thing ‘that’: either you have it or you don’t,” Sanders said. “Throughout my career, I have always taken a guy who draws the ball, in any way, shape or shape: forced loose balls, selections. I will get the ball, and that is the part of playing defense: we want the offensive to be the ball.”

Bowles doubts to launch compliments to newcomers of Bucs in a rookie mini -play played in shirts and shorts, without contact, so what can impress it most are the players who collect the defense, showing an understanding and consciousness from the beginning.

“Like the rest of the security, it is very intelligent, it is very noisy,” Bowles said on Friday after the first day of MiniCampament. “You can heart today, making calls and everything, so he has a good understanding of day 1 of things. There was Bsree or four who did. It was one of them, but you have to make plays in the pads. What comes to do and do to do and do to do and do to do and do to do and do more every day.”

Bowles, himself a former NFL security whose game days overcame Deion Sanders, was part of why Shilo chose the BUCS. They also have an established lack of depth that gives a naked rookie a better opportunity to make the list of 53 men. They have a Pro Bowl head in Antoine Winfield Jr., such as Sanders, the son of a NFL defensive return for a long time, and will probably have Pro Tykee Smith second year as the other headline. The competition for depth points is among other naked players with limited experience, so Sanders will have a window to demonstrate their value in the training and preseason camp.

The Sanders Brothers, playing together on their father’s teams for the last four years, are now separated but through the same initiation of the NFL. Shiloh is two years old than Shoreeur, who was promoted as a high selection of first potential round, but had to wait two days before landing in Cleveland. They have the confidence of their father and a new motivation, wanting to demonstrate that they belong to the NFL to develop their own name.

“We are at the same time at this time, actually,” said Shiloh. “I think he is also doing an interview right now. So good, a little fraternal love. I miss me and those things. His older brother is no longer next to him in practice. We talk a lot.”

Sanders Famy had a hard weekend of Draft, watching and waiting before he was finally called the name of Shedeur, and Shilo said he learned not to stop in any disappoint Hax, Hax, Hax, Hax, Hax, Hax, Hax, do, do, do.

“My opinion about Bee disappointed in minimal is that it is not very low because you cannot change the past,” he said. “I simply trust God, and I always end up doing something great, so I know it will happen, and what is currently happening is to learn or grow.”

Sanders began his university career with two years in South Carolina, so he is on his own before, Independiente or his brother and father as he is now. It is being installed in your new home in Tampa, learning with which coaches you can get additional study sessions, preparing a spreadsheet or the favorite snacks of your security partners so that the position room is well supplied for long meetings. She is asking for beach recommendations, grateful that the altitude in Colorado has it well conditioned by the heat she will now face in Tampa.

“I just want to prepare the best I can,” he said.
