The current national Florida Gaters champion dramatically reinforced his chances of going to his back by adding Boogie Fland Transfer Guard of Arkansas on Tuesday.

The 6’2 strip had been going through the NBA Draft process before announcing last week that would return to University for its second season. According to the reports, more than $ 2 million will be paid to play for the Todd Golden team in 2025-26.

A former 5 -star recruit, Fland’s first year season in Arkansas had an excellent start before suffering an ulnar collateral ligament injury in its right thumb a duration of a game against Florida on January 11. After initially trying to play for the injury, Fland underwent surgery in his hand 11 days later. Heyn does not return to the court to the NCAA tournament, which saw the razorbacks planted in the tenth sown to make a surprise race towards Sweet 16.

Before suffering the injury, Fland averaged 15.1 points and 5.7 assists per game. He left the bank in the three MADNESS competitions of March, scoring only 12 points in total and delivering five assists.

In Gainesville, Fland will join forces with Printeton Transfer Xaivian Lee to form one of the most interesting and enhancedly exciting posterior courses of university basketball by 2025-26. The duo will seek to replicate the magic that Walter Clayton Jr., Alijah Martin and Will Richard could create last season to take Florida to their first national championship since 2007.

While almost all the production of the UF rear track last season has gone, its front track must remain largely intact. Thomas Haugh (9.8 ppg/6.1 rpg) is back, as well as Rueben Chinyelu (6.0 ppg/6.6 rpg), who recently took his name from the NBA draft. If Big Alex Condon began (10.6 ppg/7.5 rpg) follow Chinyelu’s advantage and return to Ganeeville for one more race, the crawls would look like a nearby lock to be a Top 10 preseason team.

The combination of Fland and Lee, a selection of twice in the league of the first All-Iivy team, should allow Florida to continue the style of play at the time when Golden teams have prospered.

Fland had previously reviewed at number 5 on the SB nations list of the 10 best players available on the transfer portal.
