2025 UFL MVP Race continues to collect steam, with a couple of quartbacks exceeding the classifications.
Bryce Perkins He has guided the Michigan Panthers to a 3-2 mark, tied at the top of the USFL conference, while Jordan Ta’amu It has the DC defenders Sitting 4-1, at the top of the XFL conference.
Where do Perkins and Ta’amu land in my last MVP classification, and is Arlington QB? Luis Pérez Winning ground in the race?
Here is a look at my fifth MVP UFL power ranking of the season.

UFL TOP 10 PLAYS OF WEEK 5

5. St. Louis Battlehawks RB Jacob Saylors
Statistics line of week 5: 73 total yards in 14 touches
RESULT OF WEEK 5: 32-27 Win vs. Michigan
While its production has dropped in recent weeks, Saylors is still one of the most prolific corridors and receptors of the League with 255 yards per land and 202 reception yards during the first half of the season. It is located in the top 10 of each category.
Saylors is tied in the first place with Arlington Renegades Tailback Deveon Smith for haste TDS this season with four and is located just behind Arington Tailback Baleage in yards by land per game in 51. Become a candidate for MVP himself.
4. Houston Roughnecks QB Jalan McClendon
Statistics line of week 5: 22 of 31 for 171 adjustment yards
RESULT OF WEEK 5: 27-3 win in San Antonio
The Roughnecks won only once in 2024. In 2025, they doubled that account during the first half of the season and put themselves at a surprising distance away from the distance of a playoff place in the QB establishment of the USFL Coneren QB solution. Your initial QB.
Although their numbers were not striking in week 5, McClendon’s ability to throw the ball in the field and its great behavior have changed the attitude of an offensive that had stagnated.
Now, with Justin Hall at his disposal, McClendon has the opportunity to help Roughnecks reach the playoffs for the first time at an open USFL conference. Houston is just a first place game.
3. Arlington renegades QB Luis Pérez
Statistics line of week 5: 22 of 33 for 268 adjustment yards, 1 td, 1 int
RESULT OF WEEK 5: 37-33 Loss vs. DC
Pérez’s game has been stable through the season. He is the only player who sees more than 100 of his passes ends in the ending, while he is only one of the two players with a percentage of more than 70% in the League.
Given the balance that the renegade offensive has demonstrated with the most prolific corridor of the league and its second more prolific pin, Pérez’s performance is much more impression.
2. Michigan Panthers QB Bryce Perkins
Statistics line of week 5: 21-or 25 for 235 adjustment yards, 2 touchdowns
RESULT OF WEEK 5: 32-27 Loss in St. Louis
Perkins played his best game of the season in week 5, and that is something for a player who was the two -time offensive player of the week in an elite performance against the Battlehawks. Panthers are still tied in the first place at the USFL conference and seem the favorite to win it.
If Perkins has been the opener of Michigan Day, it is fair to ask if their numbers would be better. He directs the League in a percentage of end to 72.3%, has a TD-Int ratio of 3 to 1 and has represented five touchdowns this season.
1. DC defenders QB Jordan Ta’amu
Statistics line of week 5: 23 of 46 suitable for 308 yards, 3 touchdown, 1 int
RESULT OF WEEK 5: 37-33 win in Arlington
Around the last two weeks, no player has been more prolific than Ta’amu. He averaged more than 300 aerial yards per game during this recent section, transferred the defenders to 4-1 and has played the best possible against two teams that is expected to compete for second place in the title game of the XFL Besind DC Conference
Ta’amu leads the UFL in TDS of passes (nine) and total TDs (11) and is the only player in the league to pass through more than 1,000 yards in five games (1,213). If the MVP is awarded to the best player of the best team, it is difficult to argue how someone could be to disapprove Ta’amu.
