Sometimes you need a good kick in the pants to boost your training routine and that is exactly what I did in April when I joined my neighborhood gym. Exercising at home was getting obsolete and needed a change.
I was already familiar with the Les Mills brand of my YMCA’s physical conditioning classes in New Jersey, I was glad to see that the offers of my French gym included Bodycombat, a high -energy kickboxing class and cardio based on cardio that has enough blows and choreographed kicks to keep it committed and have fun, not to mention that it travels in the end.
I have been taking body combat twice a week for several months and I love (apart from that lack of air conditioning situation in the summer). The 55 -minute training passes quickly, makes you balance to some great melodies, antinterna the calories and forces you to work hard.
If you are thinking of trying a Bodycombat class by Les Mills and is getting into, “it is a hard-body fight” or it is already an experienced participant, here are some truths about the Kick-Butt class.
Bodycombat reviews: why I love
I was first presented to Les Mills’s classes about eight years ago in me YMCA. I started with bodypump, the only class of Les Mills they offered at that time, and enjoyed the camaraderie, the fact that it shakes the conjectures of weightlifting and the efficiency of the training.
A few years ago, when moving to France, I was pleasantly surprised to see my old friend Les Mills in my local gym. A class I have tasks that a particular taste is to be Bodycombat.
These days I take it through the Les Mills On Demand application and you can get a free 30 -day test with my link here >>
Here is why I love the body combat of Les Mills:
Rookies and experienced professionals can enjoy a Bodycombat class.
One of the best things in Les Mills’s classes is that participants of all ages and physical condition levels can take the same class together and make a murderous training. The instructor will ask if there is a better timer in the class and the gear technique, as well as to show modifications for all high impact movements.
How difficult is body fight? It depends completely on you. It establishes the level of intensity of its class and if you do not want to kick so hard, jump so high or blow with such power, that is 100% within its control. Before you realize, you will be a professional!

The meaning of the community is empowering.
By community, I mean the people of the class with you, as well as to all others who take bodycombat worldwide. Each launch is launched at the same time worldwide, so independently of the country in which it is and in what language it speaks, is hitting and kicking exactly like any other participant. I am happy to say that all in class with me are cozy and Altegh are of different levels of physical condition, we are all supported or among them.
Even if you do not have a gym near where you can take Bodycombat classes in person (or prefer to exercise at home), do not worry because the application Les Mills has it covered. Try for free for 30 days

You do not need to have a history of martial arts to enjoy the class.
The idea of taking a Kickboxing class can be intimidating especially if it is not super coordinated. While the bodycombat choreography is based on martial arts movements, this is a fun cardio class that does not request previous experience. You definitely do not need to be a martial arts teacher! The movements are easy to follow and execute and do not need to be too coordinated to enjoy.
All classes offer modifications so that the class is accessible to all. That is something that I love from Les Mills. They make classes feasible.
Music changes each quarter so that it is not boring.
Like all Les Mills classes, the songs that accompany the training change each quarter along with the choreography. Once you have dominated each launch and start itching something new, it is time for the new version, so there is no time for training to become obsolete. You will be hitting and drawing to new songs that energy and will update your training.
Peloton vs. Les Mills: Why is the application worth its money? >>
You can still get a murderous training if you take low impact options.
Sometimes I don’t want to jump. Maybe my legs hurt or I am tired or used the wrong sports bra. Bodycombat instructors will show you modifications for all high impact intense movements so that people of any physical condition can participate and still obtain effective training. They are as effective as high -impact movements and may be just what it needs to overcome the strong and proud class.
Real becomes more difficult, better better.
Sometimes you overcome an exercise class. Once you have dominated the movements, certain classes can be easier and is reaching a plateau. Maybe they are still fun, but you aren’t working so hard. That is not the case with Bodycombat. For me, training spreads more as time passes. I do not mean in terms of cardiovascular fitness, but as perfections your technique, you will be drilling more and more precisely, kicking higher, jumping with more power and deepening.
As you learn the choreography, you will jump instead of seeing the instructor for some counts until you learn yourself. Once you trust your technique and have dominated the movements in the launch, you can let go and hit it hard. And I do.
