In a rare joint appearance, Hollywood icons Jennifer Aniston, 55, and Sandra Bullock, 59, were photographed outside a plastic surgery office in Greenwich, Connecticut earlier this week.
The “Friends” star and “Speed” actress were seen leaving “The Retreat at Split Rock” – a prestigious surgical facility noted for its commitment to privacy and accreditation.
In photographs shared by the Daily Mail, Aniston emerged wearing a black sweater, scarf, denim jeans, and a floppy black hat concealing her face, alongside Bullock, who donned a puffy black jacket, white T-shirt, baggy black slacks, and oversized shades.
The duo left the office of Dr. Neil A Gordon, a renowned expert in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, who specializes in procedures such as facial rejuvenation and rhinoplasty, according to the facility’s official website. Accompanying the two actresses was Amanda Anka, who is married to “Ozark” star Jason Bateman.
The retreat offers upper and lower face lifts, priced at $50,000 to $100,000 each, along with brow and eye lifts around $30,000 each.
Aniston’s visit to the plastic surgeon sparked controversy, with regards to her previous public perspective on cosmetic surgery.
In a previous interview with Yahoo Beauty, the “Murder Mystery” star discussed her approach to aging, stating, “People think that I do a lot of (Botox) injections, but I don’t. I’m not saying that I haven’t tried it but I see how it’s a slippery slope.”
“All that cosmetic stuff looks ridiculous on me. And like we were saying before, they just start to lose perspective, it’s their new normal, so it’s a hard one to come back from,” she added.
The actresses’ outing outside the plastic surgery office underscores the ongoing scrutiny faced by celebrities regarding their appearances and the societal standards of beauty prevalent in the entertainment industry.
