Los Angeles Sparks have signed Liatu King with a difficulty difficulty contract of the season. King was selected in the third round of the 2025 draft, third in general, after a strong university career that began at the University of Pittsburgh and ended at Notre Dame.
King averaged 11.5 points and 10.4 rebounds per game, while fired 56.3% from the field for Notre Dame in his last season. She held the 17th position in division I last season on average rebounds, ending as a semifinalist for the Katrina McClain Power Forward of the Year award.
Now, he thought she was renounced a week ago, joins the Sparks list in a difficulties.
Sparks have deals with a series of injuries at the beginning of the season.
Cameron Brink is expected to break his ACL last season, return to the action of the game at some time in June, according to Holly Rowe of ESPN.
Rae Burrell left the first game of the season with an injury to the right leg and is expected to lose 6-8 weeks, while the highlight of the second year Rickea Jackson left Sunday’s game and remains day to day.
In large part due to the extended absence of Burrell, the sparks resorted to a difficulty contract, a contact that addresses the shortage of the list for several reasons. While the contract is technically a rest contract of the season, it is likely that when Burrell return, and the team is no longer eligible for the king of difficulties to be released.
