The Supreme Court dismissed on Monday the supplication of telecommunications Majas Vodafone, Airstel and Tata Teleservices that seek the exemption of adjusted gross income quotas (AGR).
A bank that includes JB Pardiwala and R Mahadevan described the “erroneous” pleasures.
“We are really surprised by these requests that have presented us.
The Superior Court refused to interpose in the government’s path that wanted to help telecommunications companies.
Vodafone has sought a resignation of around ₹ 30,000 million rupees for interest, penalty and interest on the penalty components of its agricultural quotas.
Rohatgi said previously that the survival of the petitioner firm was crucial to maintain competition in the telecommunications sector.
Now the center has a 49 percent participation in the company after a recent conversion of capital of interest, had added.
“This writing petition does not seek a review of the sentence, but only seeks to exempted interest, fine and fine interest under the sentence,” said the company’s plea.
The petitioner, therefore, sought appropriate instructions to the center to “act fairly and in public interest” and not insist on the “payment of interest, fine and interest on the fine in agricultural quotas.”
