The central gardener of the Minnesota Byron Buxton has joined the Carlos Correa campocorto on the list of 7 -day brain shock injured after the teammates collided while pursuing a shallow flight ball in a game on Thursday afternoon, the Baltimore Orioles.
Buxton was placed on the injured list before the Saturday night of the twins in Milwaukee. Correa had added the leg to the Kured list one day before.
“There is a reason why it is the type of injury that we have this type of protocols: many, many steps and authorizations that have to happen,” said the TWINS manager, Rocco Baldelli, before Saturday’s game, moved to the transfer of Buxton to Buxton. “Because there is no easy way to diagnose and treat and monitor. It must be reflective.”
In the third entry of the 4-0 victory of the twins on Thursday, Correa retired to the grass of the ball for the ball while Buxton ran and seemed to ask for it in the last second before they hit the heads. Buxton has been limited by injuries during much of his career: his 102 games played last year represented their highest total since 2017, but had appeared in 41 or the first 44 Minnesota games before this collision.
The 31 -year -old is hitting .261 with a percentage based on A.312, 10 home runs, 27 driven races and eight robberies.
Correa, 30, only three games had been lost this season before the programmed collision rest days were limited to 86 games last season due to plantar fasciitis on their right foot.
Correa, three times there, is heating .236 with a percentage based on .274, two homers and 13 races promoted this season.
For a second consecutive game, Dashawn Kearsey Jr. started at Buxton’s place in the central garden and Brooks Lee was completed for Correa in the campocorto.
