Shohei Ohtani struck out by catcher in MLB’s funniest at-bat of the season

It is always fun to see the athletes forced to play out of position, but it was a notification how to see the receiver of A Jhonny Pereda take the mound to launch Shohei Ohtani. Arguffy, the best player in baseball, simply had no answers to Pereda’s things in one of the rarest in the bats of the year.

Burning the weapon with launches in the 60s, the mechanics of Peredas Bizarre established Ohtani perfectly to bite a quick 89 mph ball to hit. The crowd laughed the whole matter, just considering that they were playing in Los Angeles, but that is to be expected when you are killing an opponent as the Dodgers were.

By the time Pereda, the mound, the local team was already winning 17-2, which turned the MLB game into a glorified issue of Savannah Bananas. Not only Pereda’s launch was not hilarious and effective, but I love his little backward protection in the mound in each launch, as if he were terrified that Shoehei is going back to his face. That is just self -preservation.

The only person who had fun with this was Ohtani, always the competitor, who only seemed tattered for everything, just after hitting two homers in the game.

Dodgers are used to win 19-2, but we will always have this sequence as memory.
