The NBA in NBC will always be associated with Michael Jordan. The Chicago Bulls de Jordan dominated the 90s when NBC had the transmission rights of the league. With NBC recovering their NBA coverage next season, they achieved the trick of recovering Jordan.
It was announced on Monday that Jordan will work with the NBA in NBC when they return in October, as a special taxpayer to the brand.
A legendary addition to our team!

Jordan has not appeared regularly on any NBA television since he retired in 2003, but his vision of the game could be the most valuable addition that the brand makes at the beginning of coverage. It is worth noting that NBC has not given any details about which special collaborator “Meeans, but there are some different possibilities here:
- Michael Jordan daily game segment, where he tells you what Parlays going because he is betting on the same things you are.
- Jordan as an analyst, smoking a cigar and calling Kyle Kuzma everything except his name in a period of five minutes.
- A Manningcast style of seeing basketball, with Jordan serving to guide fans through how players see the game as it develops
The speech of the Jordan Hall of Fame was the last time we really saw him transmit his complaints in a live microphone. The speech consolidated Jordan’s reputation as the king of meanness. That could be a fantastic television.
Regardless of whatever, we could see a new more diabolical hatred level with Jordan to the helm. I could spend hours talking about what a new generation is like and they don’t deserve to be on the court on which he played, and do you know what? I would be here for that.
