Many great quarterbacks have adorned the NFL, but those who have constantly achieved the success of the playoffs are considered at another level.
To overcome an opponent who has had one or two weeks to ski specifically against you while playing in a high stress environment, and to do so on a constant base, separates the legends of the greats.
Then, Tom Brady, who is by far the leader in this category. While Patrick Mahomes is in rhythm to match the 35 victories of Brady’s playoffs if he plays up to 40 years, that number is completely out of the reach of any other person and solidifies Brady’s argument as the best of all time.
We take a look at Brady and the other QBs that have taken their teams to victory in the postseason at the highest rate.
What quarterbacks have more victories in the playoffs in the history of NFL?
T-9. Roger Staubach: 11
Staubach brought a couple of Super Bowls in 1971 and 1977. The first reached the back of his defense, which allowed only 18 points in three playoff games. The second was the offensive fire power source, scoring a total of 87 points in the postseason. Staubach reached its maximum point at 183 air yards in a 27-10 victory in the Super Bowl XI over the Denver’s Broncos. He launched a touchdown in each of his playoff games during the postseason race.
The best moment of Staubach playoffs came in the Divisional Round of the NFC of the 1975-76 playoffs. Following the Minnesota Vikings 14-10 with 24 seconds, removing, a pass through the right side line was raised, and the Drew Pearson receiver maneuvered around his defender to hook the launch. The cowboys get used to dominating the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC championship game, 37-7, but fell to the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl, 21-17.
T-9. Aaron Rodgers: 11
Rodgers took the Green Bay Packers to his last Super Bowl victory in 2011 in his third season as a team headline. While they never arrived there with Rodgers, the Packers were a pillar in the image of the NFC playoffs during their 15 years as their headline. In the Super Bowl XLV, Rodgers, Stellar, launching for 304 yards and three touchdowns and winning MVP honors of the Super Bowl.
T-9. Troy Aikman: 11
Aikman had a legendary stretch with the cowboys, which led them to three super bowl victories in four seasons in the 1990s.
In the 1993 postseason, Dallas exploded to each of his opponents, and Aikman launched for 273 yards and four touchdowns in a 52-17 victory over the Buffalo Bills in the Super Bowl XXVII. Hey later referred to that time as the peak of his career.
Dallas was consecutive, Buffalo again in 1994. Aikman did not launch a touchdown in that game, but his rupture of Smith emits complemented with the accuracy of the passes, such as the lounge of the Fot Backn run. In the Super Bowl XXX, Aikman & Co. Tok Down The Steelers, 27-17.
T-7. Ben Roethlisberger: 13
Roethlisberger made the postseason in 13 or in his 17 seasons as the starter of the Steelers and won the Super Bowls with them in 2006 and 2009. T-7. Brett Favre: 13
Favre led the Packers to 11 apparitions in postseason in their 16 seasons as a starter and a victory at the Super Bowl in 1997. The Packers scored at least 30 points in each of their playoff games during that postseason. Favre launched 292 yards and two touchdowns in the NFC championship game and 246 yards and two touchdowns in a 35-21 victory over the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl XXXI.
Favre connected to Antonio Freeman for an 81 -yard pass for the advantage score in the second quarter against the Patriots. The Packers did not follow from that point, and Favre even added a touchdown on the ground.
T-4. John Elway: 14
Elway took the Broncos to three appearances in the Super Bowl in a period of four years at the end of the 1980s, but fell short in each of them. Elway remained persistent, he thought and finally arrived in his last two years in the NFL. He had to author four victories in the 1998 playoffs, since the Sourcecos began their career in the Wild-Card Commodines game by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars, 42-17. It was great at the Super Bowl XXXII, he thought, launching for 123 yards and an interception.
In 1999, Elway had 336 air yards, a passenger and a touchdown by land. In the first quarter, Hey hit Rod Smith receiver on a later route for a touchdown of 80 yards. After a 3 yards touchdown from Elway, the Broncos had a dominant advantage of 31-6. They get used to winning by two digits, 34-19.
T-4. Terry Bradshaw: 14
Bradshaw took the Steelers four super bowl races in the period of six seasons. Before they found it, the franchise had only made an appearance in the playoffs. Bradshaw took them to nine. His best performance came in the Super Bowl XIII, a 35-31 thriller between the Steelers and the Cowboys. Bradshaw launched for 318 yards and four touchdowns.
He connected with the receiver John Stallworth for a 28 -yard touchdown in the first quarter and a 75 -yard score in the second quarter. Bradshaw’s TouchDown launch of 75 yards was a penny, since he hit Stallworth on the tip of his fingers calmly. He added two more to Rocky Bleier and Lynn Swann in the second half.
T-4. Peyton Manning: 14
Manning took the Indianapolis Colts to 11 apparitions in Postemporada in 13 years and a victory at the Super Bowl in 2007. Duration that Playoffs race, Tom Brady surpassed in a victory in a AFC championship game over the Patriots, 38-34. He launched for 349 yards and a touchdown and added another on the ground. 3. Joe Montana: 16
The four races of Montana to the Super Bowl, and their perfect 4-0 record in the Super Bowl is responsible for its accumulation of 16 wins in the playoffs. Only two of those victories came out of the Super Bowl races, so it was essentially Super Bowl or Bust for Montana when it reached the playoffs. That is not a bad result.
In his first playoff game, he launched for 304 yards and two touchdowns, which led the San Francisco 49ers to a 38-24 victory over the New York giants. In his second race of the Super Bowl, in 1985, he averaged 291 yards on three games and launched for 331 yards and three touchdowns in the victory of the Super Bowl XX 38-16 of the 49ers. For his final act, Montana took San Francisco to the consecutive victories of the Super Bowl in 1989 and 1990.
2. Patrick Mahomes: 17
Mohamses has just broken 30 years, but it is second in this prestigious list. No matter the surrounding cast, which is not the constant of the closed wing Travis Kelce, Mahomes has found ways to win playoff games, both beautiful and ugly. In fact, Kansas City Chiefs have not yet been knocked out in their first playoff game (either in the division or comfort round) since Mohamses became the headline.
He has tormented the Bills, leading Chiefs in late games units in each of their AFC championship games battles, including one in 2022 that needed only 13 seconds. Mahomes has a 3-2 record in Super Bowls and led the Chiefs to consecutive rings in 2023 and 2024.
1. Tom Brady: 35
Mahomes and Rodgers are the only active quarters on this list. The first has the opportunity to catch Tom Brady, but this statistic describes how incomparable the race that Brady had and solidifies further his goat state. His precision and ability to separate a defense remained the test of time. He led the Patriots to the playoffs in 17 of the 18 seasons that began for the team, and won a Super Bowl in their first year as a starter, as well as in Hitth third and fourth year.
In the Super Bowl XXXVIII, he launched for 354 yards and three touchdowns and led the Patriots in a game of the winning field goal of the game at the last minute. Brady led nine Super Bowl races with the Patriots, winning six of them. He took his success to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, becoming the oldest field marshal to winning a Super Bowl at 43 years in 2021.
