Integra Resources’ George Salamis on creating the largest Great Basin gold miner

-

The Northern Miner’s Western Editor, Henry Lazenby, interviewed Integra Resources president and CEO George Salamis about the rationale behind the company’s at-market merger with Millennial Precious Metals at the PDAC 2023 conference in March. The deal would create one of the largest precious metals mining companies in the United States’ Great Basin. Salamis says the merger will benefit both sets of shareholders and streamlines the permitting and development of three high-quality oxide heap-leach projects. The combined company will hold Integra’s past-producing gold-silver DeLamar project in southwest Idaho and Millennial’s Wildcat and Mountain View projects in western Nevada.
